Sustainability at Najd Fertilizers is not marketing language — it is the reason the project exists. By producing locally, we reduce shipping emissions, cut import dependency, and build agricultural resilience for the Sultanate.
Import substitution
Every tonne we produce locally is a tonne that does not need to travel by container ship. Estimated import reduction: 5,000–6,000 tonnes annually at full ramp-up (per the current investor brief).
Vision 2040 alignment
The project directly supports Oman Vision 2040 food-security priorities by strengthening the local input supply chain.
Local employment
Our planned team includes 13 direct roles with an Omanization target of ~38%, supporting national employment goals.
Circular practices
Our organic line incorporates local agricultural residues — including date-palm biomass — turning waste streams into productive soil amendments.
